Join Our Team as a Preschool Paraprofessional at Future Scholars Early Learning Center!

As a Preschool Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in assisting with instructional activities, managing students with care and respect, and ensuring a safe and engaging classroom experience. Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with small group instruction and classroom activities
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and behavior
• Implement differentiated instruction and instructional strategies
• Conduct parent conferences to discuss student development and goals
• Support the lead teacher in implementing curriculum and lesson planning

Required Skills:

• High school diploma; college-level coursework in education or related field
• Experience in early childhood education or a related field
• Ability to manage classroom behavior and support students with disabilities
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Understanding of Common Core State Standards
• Knowledge of child growth and development, appropriate classroom practices, and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities
• Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.)
• Appointment may require successful completion of communicable disease, child abuse, CPR, first aid, and /or behavioral management training.
• Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver, or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment

Salary and Benefits:

Salary and work year to be determined by the Hainesport Township School Board of Trustees.
